Superiore DOCG “Vincenzo da Filicaja"
The grapes used to make Chianti Superiore DOCG
“Vincenzo da Filicaja” are harvested
by hand into crates with a specific harvest-transfer-destemming
criteria, which enables the destemming and the
pumping of the must into fermentation tanks within
a maximum of 15 minutes after picking the grapes
from the vine.
This wine is the product of first-choice grapes
from our best vineyards. It rests for 12 months
in barrels of French oak from the forest of Allier,
producing a full-bodied, supple wine of great
depth and character. |
