Superiore DOCG “Conte Andrea”
The grapes used to make Chianti Superiore are
harvested by hand into crates with a specific
harvest-transfer-destemming criteria, which enables
the destemming and the pumping of the must into
fermentation tanks within a maximum of 15 minutes
after picking the grapes from the vine.
Chianti superiore DOCG “Conte Andrea”
is produced from our best grapes and is Villa
da Filicaja’s wine of the highest distinction.
The 100% Sangiovese wine rests for 12 months in
barrels of white oak (Quercus Alba), adding depth,
balance and elegance to this worl-dclass wine.
