  • This wine takes its name from the characteristic ripasso method, in which the grapes are 're-passed', that is, re-fermented on the pomace of Amarone, giving the wine added roundness and depth
  • The wine is brilliant ruby-red in colour with darkish undertones. The aroma is decisive and persistent, opening with red and blue berries and a light, sombre leathery tone
  • The palate is dry with a well-toned body, polished tannins and balanced alcohol, which is well expressed in the finale that recalls the fruit and exalts the combination of freshness and maturity
  • An excellent accompaniment to grilled meats and feathered game, and absolutely delicious with fresh pasta dishes prepared with flavoursome sauces
